CuBe2 (CW101C)

One of the charactetistics of that alloy is the hardening by a tempering treatment. Then the breaking point may reach 1500 N/mm2 and the hardness 45 HRC while it keeps its electrical properties.

ANTIMAGNETIC and ANTI-SPARK alloy. It is used for the parts in explosive atmosphere (explosion proof tooling, crane track wheel, ...).

Other usings : inserts for injection casting mold, electrodes and gripping jaw for welding.

It exists a grade with the addition of Lead for the workability.
