CuSn10Pb10

 

Because there is lead inside, it is the most usual grade to solve the difficult cases of friction by combining a good pressure resistance.

Used in the mechanics industry for the manufacturing of rings, bearings, guides..., and generally the parts that are subjected to the pressure with lubrication.

There is a no standardized variation with more important nickel content (CuSn10Pb10Ni3). You will find the average characteristics at the bottom of that page.
