Cu-b1(Cu-DHP)

Copper electrolytically or thermically refined after a deoxidization treatment with phosphorus. The result is a residual phosphorus content from 0,013 to 0,050 %.

The residual phosphorus has the effect to decrease the electrical conductivity but it makes that copper insensitive to the reducing atmospheres. So, that grade applies to mechanical usings and is perfectly weldable with no limitation.

Very often, it is found as thin products : sheets, tubes, strips.
